Grass Swale

Stormwater runoff from the existing parking lot is directed to a paved swale (photo 1). Once the stormwater leaves the paved swale it flows randomly causing sediment to build up and erosion problems. The project will attempt to design a vegetated swale with the proper subgrade to handle storm water flows that may come from the parking area and provide for some infiltration and renovation.
